Linda Sclafani, your Pinellas County Real Estate Champion

I moved to St. Petersburg from Pennsylvania in 1989 and knew I had found my forever home.  My family and I enjoyed the beautiful beaches every spare minute we had.  I was relieved that St. Pete was so easy to navigate; the street and avenue numbers make it simple.  Shopping, dining, and entertainment were so accessible.  But best of all, my days of shoveling snow were over!

Back then, St. Pete had a quaint downtown area, but it wasn't considered a destination. There wasn't much to attract visitors.  Watching the downtown area evolve during the last couple decades has been nothing short of amazing!  We now have a great selection of restaurants, gathering places, and museums.  The new Pier is awesome.  In fact, I met my husband downtown, and he proposed one year later at the spot where we met.  I couldn't have been more surprised!

It's an added bonus that St. Pete is so close to Tampa and Orlando.  If you're a roller coaster enthusiast, as I am, Busch Gardens Tampa and Adventure Island Orlando are the places to be.  I'm also a music lover, and doubt there's a concert venue I've missed between here and Orlando.  Here's my recommendation for a fun day out:  Catch a movie or a live show at the historic Tampa Theater, with its stunning decor.  Then grab a bite to eat at Carmine's in Ybor City, if you like Cuban food.  The deviled crab is delicious.  Or, if you prefer Italian, Bella's Bistro on South Howard Ave. in Tampa never disappoints.  I guess you can gather that we enjoy eating out.

If you're considering a move to our area, I'd love to find your dream home.  And if you're relocating out of the area, know that I'm an expert in downsizing before a move.  My contacts are professionals with years of experience in the removal of furniture and belongings, and offer a fair price.  Whether you're moving to or from Pinellas County or Tampa, I'll work hard to make your dream come true.
